"What are Reiki Chakras?"

The Sanskrit word Chakra literally translates to wheel. In meditation, yoga, and Ayurveda, this term refers to wheels of energy throughout the body. There are seven main chakras, which align the spine, starting from the base of the spine through to the crown of the head. To visualize a chakra in the body, imagine a swirling wheel of energy where matter and consciousness meet. This invisible energy, called Prana, is vital life force, which keeps us vibrant, healthy, and alive.

The chakras and the physical body

Every chakra has a corresponding organ in our physical system. 

The root chakra - Represents our foundation and feeling of being grounded. Location: Base of spine in tailbone area. Emotional issues: Survival issues such as financial independence, money and food. More on Root Chakra healing. Red Colour represents root chakra.

The Sacral Chakra - Our connection and ability to accept others and new experiences. Location: Lower abdomen, about two inches below the navel and two inches in. Emotional issues: Sense of abundance, well-being, pleasure and sexuality. Orange Colour represents sacral chakra. 

The solar plexus chakra Our ability to be confident and in control of our lives. Location: Upper abdomen in the stomach area. Emotional issues: Self-worth, self-confidence and self-esteem. Yellow Colour represents solar plexus chakra.

The third eye (forehead) chakra Our ability to focus on and see the big picture. Location: Forehead between the eyes (also called the Brow Chakra). मूलाधार चक्र - मूलाधार चक्र हमारे आधार और हमारी भावनाओं का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। स्थान: रीढ़ की हड्डी के निचले हिस्से में । मूलाधार चक्र उत्तरजीविता प्रदान करता है। लाल रंग मूल चक्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है

स्वाधिष्ठान चक्र - नए अनुभवों एवं दूसरों से सम्बन्ध स्वीकारने की क्षमता प्रदान करता है। स्थान: नाभि के दो इंच नीचे | भलाई, सुख और कामुकता की भावना प्रदान करता है। नारंगी रंग स्वाधिष्ठान चक्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है |

मणिपुर चक्र - हमारे जीवन में नियंत्रण और आत्मविश्वास प्रदान करता है | स्थानः पेट के ऊपरी क्षेत्र में | मणिपुर चक्र आत्मविश्वास और आत्मसम्मान बढ़ाता है ।  पीला रंग मणिपुर चक्र में का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है |

हृदय चक्र - प्यार करने की हमारी क्षमता प्रदान करता है | स्थान: छाती के केंद्र | प्यार, खुशी और आंतरिक शांति प्रदान करता है। हरा रंग हृदय चक्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है |

विशुद्धि चक्र - संवाद करने की हमारी क्षमता को बढ़ाता है | स्थान: गला | ब्लू रंग गले चक्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है |

आज्ञा चक्र - हमारी ध्यान शक्ति बढ़ाने में मदद करता है | स्थान: आंखों के बीच माथे पर | ब्लू रंग गले चक्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है |

सहस्रार चक्र - सहस्रार चक्र आध्यात्मिक रूप से पूरी तरह से जुड़े रहने की हमारी क्षमता का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। स्थान: सिर के ऊपर । वायलेट का रंग मुकुट चक्र को दर्शाता है |
